Garden of Others

Pascal Sangl

'Garden of Others' is a powerful dance short film with a strong viewpoint on how intimacy has changed in our relationships following the rise of dating apps. We created a world where we almost immediately show ourselves naked and have sex with anyone within close proximity, whereas our true character remains concealed.

Chiyo is a young woman with outstandingly beautiful eyes, a kind heart and ambitious dreams, whose name stands for “a thousand generations”.

She is a master of transformation, who manages to unlock an entire kingdom of imagination in one's mind with the smallest expression only. Her subtlety is magical and that's what makes the experience of watching so distinctively powerful.
